ποΈ Hope
(Christ Born in You, Christ Born in All)
The Pause
Before you begin,
be still.
Feel the silence that waits beneath your breath.
It is not emptiness β
it is expectancy.
The same Spirit that moved over the waters
now hovers over you.
Hope is forming.
The first Advent was not the end of waiting β
it was the beginning of becoming.
A young woman said yes,
and heaven entered her humility.
The Infinite became infant.
The Word became woundable.
And the love that created galaxies
found a home in her heartbeat.
That same miracle continues.
The Light that shone in Bethlehem
longs to shine through every soul that still says,
βLet it be unto me.β
Hope is the seed of that consent β
Godβs whisper seeking flesh.
It begins small,
but it will not remain hidden.
The child born once for the world
now waits to be born within the world β
within us,
between us,
through us.
When Christ is born in you,
He does not stay there.
His first cry becomes your calling.
His peace becomes your pulse.
And His hope begins to breathe
for all creation.
Hope is not private.
It is the life of God longing for others to live.
It is the Spirit praying through you
for every darkened heart to see the dawn.
Advent is that prayer.
It is the world groaning for birth.
It is heaven remembering humanity
and humanity remembering its Source.
We wait not for a child alone,
but for a kingdom being born in every child of dust.
The manger was never meant to hold Him β
it was meant to reveal Him.
And now, every heart that welcomes Love
becomes the Bethlehem of God.
So pray this quietly:
Be born in me again, Lord β
and through me,
be born in all.
Be born in the forgotten and the afraid.
Be born in the war-torn and the waiting.
Be born in the ones who no longer believe.
Be born in the silence of the worldβs ache,
until every breath becomes praise.
This is the hope that cannot die β
the Christ who will not stop coming,
until the whole earth sings,
βGlory to God in the highest,
and peace on earth to all in whom His pleasure rests.β
Under the Sun / Beyond the Sun
Hope is not a candle β
it is a sunrise.
The Light that rose once
now rises everywhere love is received.
Christ in you,
Christ in me,
Christ in all β
the hope of glory,
the dawn of God.
