We Were Brought Here to Manifest the Life

We did not come here
to become something.

We did not come here
to gather enough
learn enough
or prove enough
until we could finally begin.

We came here
because something had already begun.

There is a life
that does not wait for permission

a light
that does not wait to be understood

It is not formed
by effort

not sustained
by striving

not revealed
through accumulation

It is already present

like breath
moving before it is noticed

like light
arriving without asking to be believed

We were not brought here
to create life

we were brought here
to manifest it

The seed is not something we produce

it is something already given

imperishable
quiet
alive

sown deeper than thought
deeper than will
deeper than all the places we try to reach

And when it begins to appear
it does not arrive as something new

it feels like recognition

like something that was always here
now seen

The light does not come from us

but it does not remain outside of us

It appears
through us

in a word spoken
without effort

in a kindness
that was not calculated

in a moment
where nothing was forced
and yet something real was revealed

This is the mystery

not that we carry light
as something separate

but that the light
has chosen to be seen
in us

Like the beginning
still speaking

like the breath
still moving through dust

like creation
not finished
but unfolding

We were brought here
not to hold life

but to give it form

Not to contain light

but to let it be seen

And in that
something quiet becomes clear

There is nothing missing

nothing waiting to arrive

nothing we must become
before this can begin

Because it has already begun

And what remains
is not effort

but openness

Not striving

but allowing

Not becoming

but revealing

We came here
to manifest the life

and it could also be said

we were brought here
to manifest the light

and both
have never been absent
