🌿Beyond the Sun

(Reflection — Threshold Edition)

There’s a strange quiet that follows an ending.
You finish something long, something that cost you,
and everyone congratulates you for arriving.
But your heart doesn’t feel finished — it feels wide open.

That’s what Solomon discovered at the end of all his searching.
He had climbed every ladder we still chase — wisdom, wealth, reputation —
and when he reached the top, the wind was still blowing.
He said, “All is vapor. A chasing after the wind.”
It wasn’t despair. It was honesty.

Because beneath all our doing is a whisper:
you can chase the wind, but you’ll never catch it.
And yet, when you stop chasing — it catches you.

That’s what happened to me.
I spent years trying to harness meaning, to build ladders, to manage the wind.
And then life, in mercy, unbuilt them.
Somewhere in the quiet, I began to listen.

The voice I thought was far away was already breathing within me.
The wisdom I sought was not a thing to learn — it was a presence to receive.
The wind that once seemed wild was simply the breath of God saying,
“You are already home.”

So when you find yourself at another threshold — after a success, after a loss —
don’t rush to define what’s next.
Listen. The future isn’t waiting out there.
It’s being born right now, beyond the sun.

Under the Sun / Beyond the Sun

You chased the wind.
It turned,
and found you waiting.
